> How SERVER LIST works
SERVER LIST tracks Minecraft servers and shows their live status. Every number on this site comes from querying the servers directly.
- Status check every minute: each listed server is checked to see whether it is online.
- Details every 5 minutes: online servers are queried for player count, game version and their message of the day.
- Hourly history: player counts and online/offline status are recorded every hour and shown on each server's page.
- Server location: the country a server is hosted in is looked up from its IP address once a day.
